2016
How
it all began
It all started in September 2016. I was lying on the couch, playing with magnetic spheres – shaping them into new figures again and again.
Suddenly, a thought struck me:
“What if I could control each of these little spheres individually – and make them form any shape I imagine?”
A shiver ran up and down my spine. I was stunned by the idea.
I immediately searched online – but found nothing like it.
2023
Early
Attempts
Years went by as I tried to bring this invention to life using magnets. Despite all my efforts, it just wouldn’t work. In 2023, my engineer office "Industri eng. GmbH" explained that using different types of connections would make things easier – so I shifted my focus.
2023
Making it
Concept
I began experimenting with all kinds of shapes, looking for a way the individual parts could move smoothly together. In the end, I came back to the sphere – and initially used two connection points to hold them together. Thanks to a friend’s suggestion (and to open up more possibilities), I expanded to four.
2024
Making it
Real
At the end of 2024, I partnered with the animation studio NINC and the patent law firm WILDHACK & JELLINEK. Now the time has come: It´s time to turn the vision into reality.
